Sailboat Karelia

I have been a dry land sailor for years but I have done enough sailing over the years to know that I needed to have another sailboat. In anticipating retirement I started looking around for a retirement project boat. Of course an opportunity presented itself a year before I was ready. I was a reluctant buyer and the former owner became an anxious seller, so I wound up with a much bigger boat and project than I had originally planned.

I sold Karelia in May of 2006. The new owner sailed her through the great lakes to Lake Chaplain.
